PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia held an Etana Public Lecture at the Faculty of Pharmacy, UNDIP. PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia, based on its official website, has been established since 2014 which is a new manufacturer of high-quality, affordable, and innovative biopharmaceutical products to treat various metabolic, autoimmune, and life-threatening diseases, including cancer. PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia is committed to enabling Indonesians to live long, productive, and healthy lives by working proactively with large hospital groups, doctors’ associations, and national pharmaceutical licensing agencies, as well as social health programs to ensure all walks of life across the archipelago have access to life-saving and life-enhancing medicines that were previously unavailable or difficult to access in Indonesia.
The Etana Public Lecture activity was held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11.00 WIB, which was attended by Pharmacy students of Faculty of Medicine UNDIP (especially final semester students) and alumni. The purpose of this activity is to introduce PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia to students, types of Biopharmaceutical products, methods and techniques for making Biopharmaceutical products in general developed by PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia, as well as the role of pharmacist in the Biopharmaceutical drug industry. The material was delivered by the speaker, namely Apt. Christian Karol Saputra, S.Farm., M.Biotek, as Research & Development Manager of PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia.
PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia also opens opportunities for Pharmacy students of Faculty of Medicine UNDIP (especially final semester students) and alumni to register themselves in order to work or take part in internships at PT. Etana Biotechnology Indonesia. The enthusiasm of students participating in the Etana Public Lecture can be seen from the activeness of students interacting to give questions to the speakers and participating in door prizes activities from the PT Etana Biotechnology Indonesia’s team.
